Thompson, P.E.p4� <br />Capital Projects Manager <br />SUBJECT: Resident Inspection Services for <br />CR 510 and SR AlA Intersection Improvements <br />DATE: February 28, 1995 <br />Full time resident inspection services on CR 510 and SR AIA <br />Intersection Improvements are being performed by a retired FDOT <br />inspector, William Howard. Mr. Howard's services were contracted <br />through "At Your Service" at a cost of $22.69/hr., which includes <br />all social security, worker's compensation, unemployment <br />insurance, taxes, and agency fees. The cost approved by the <br />Board on February 13, 1994 for inspection of CR 510 and SR AlA <br />was $9,076.00. <br />The contract completion date for CR 510 and SR AlA was March 3, <br />1995. Delays in -obtaining the signal permit from the FDOT has <br />moved the completion date to the end of April. <br />The Personnel Department contacted "At Your Service" and they are <br />willing to extend the agreement to payroll Mr. Howard for eight <br />weeks at the rate of $22.69/hr. for a cost of $7,260.80. This <br />added to the original inspection fee results in a total <br />inspection cost of $16,336.80. <br />Staff recommends that the Board extend the agreement to employ <br />William Howard through "At Your Service" for eight weeks at a <br />cost of $7,260.80. <br />Funding is from Account 101-151-541-067.11. <br />25 <br />March 7, 1995 <br />E m 94 <br />
