BOCK 9 muG t <br />Commissioner Adams noted that this is another case where the <br />cost is almost double what was estimated, and she asked if we could <br />charge this back to the FDOT. <br />Public Works Director Jim Davis explained that the DOT will <br />not be contributing to this increase which is due to the redesign <br />of the intersection after the Disney project was announced. <br />Commissioner Eggert questioned if this delay stopped Mr. <br />Howard from doing his inspections, and Director Davis advised that <br />Mr. Howard was doing inspections on the Oslo project during that <br />time and is being paid by the hour. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously extended <br />the agreement to employ William Howard through "At <br />Your Service" for eight weeks at a cost of <br />$7,260.80, as recommended by staff. <br />RESOLUTIONS I AND II - PAVING & DRAINAGE MOROVEMENTS - <br />61ST AVENUE - DIANA PARK SUBDIVISION <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 2/24/95: <br />TO: James Chandler <br />County Administrator <br />THROUGH: James W. Gentile, CET <br />Civil Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Resolutions to Provide for the Paving and Drainage Improvements to and set <br />Public Hearing date for: <br />61st Avenue North of 4th Street in Diana Park Subdivision <br />DATE: February 24, 1995 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The County Public Works Department has received a petition for a public improvement <br />assessment for road paving and drainage improvements for 61st Avenue north of 4th Street <br />In Diana Park Subdivision. <br />The petition was signed by 16 owners out of a total of 19 property owners in the proposed <br />benefited area. This represents 84% of the property owners in the proposed benefited area <br />who are in favor'of having this road paved. <br />A separate resolution will need to be adopted to hold a Public Hearing to discuss the <br />advisability, cost and amount of the assessment against each property owner. <br />26 <br />March 7, 1995 <br />
