RESOLUTION NO. 2020- 039 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN'S EXECUTION OF COMMUNITY AESTHETIC FEATURE AGREEMENTS WITH <br />THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THREE (3) WELCOME SIGNS <br />AT THE ENTRANCES TO INDIAN RIVER COUNTY ON SOUTH U.S. HIGHWAY 1, NORTH U.S. HIGHWAY 1 AND <br />WEST ON STATE ROAD 60. <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County (County) has designed, engineered and is prepared to construct <br />decorative signs welcoming travelers to Indian River County; and <br />WHEREAS, three of the signs will be located on Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) rights- <br />of-way: one on north bound U.S. Highway 1 right-of-way near the St. Lucie County line, one on south bound <br />U.S. Highway 1 right-of-way near the Brevard County line and one on east bound State Road 60 right-of- <br />way near the 1-95 Interchange; and <br />WHEREAS, the FDOT has requested the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners <br />(Board) to execute and deliver Community Aesthetic Feature Agreements to the FDOT for the <br />aforementioned project(s); <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN <br />RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Chairman of the Board is hereby authorized to make, execute, and <br />deliver to the State of Florida, Department of Transportation, Community Aesthetic Feature Agreements for <br />the aforementioned project(s). <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner 0' Bryan who moved its adoption. <br />The motion was seconded by Commissioner Zorc and, upon being put to a vote, the vote was <br />as follows: <br />Chairman Susan Adams <br />Vice -Chairman Joseph E. Flescher <br />Commissioner Peter D.
