Grants <br /> <br />Amounts received or receivable from grantor agencies are subject to audit and adjustment by grantor <br />agencies. If any expenditures are disallowed as a result of these audits, the claims for reimbursement to <br />the grantor agency would become a liability of the County. In the opinion of management, any such <br />adjustments would not be significant. <br /> <br />NOTE 20 - SUBSEQUENT EVENTS <br /> <br />On March 3, 2020, the Board of County Commissioners approved a Federally-Funded Subaward and <br />Grant Agreement with the Florida Division of Emergency Management for reimbursement of <br />expenditures related to Hurricane Dorian. This agreement will allow the County to receive <br />reimbursements from the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Hurricane Dorian impacted Indian <br />River County on September 3, 2019 causing approximately $8.9 million in expenditures. <br /> <br />
