Bair <br />OMB Director <br />91s 1 �t # 1 <br />The attached budget amendment is to appropriate funding for the following: <br />1. This entry is to reimburse the Transportation Fund - Fund 111 for the cost of 101st Avenue <br />(87th Street-C.R 512) paving and drainage improvement project completed and Board of <br />County Commissioners approved in May 1992. The cost of the project was never charged <br />to Vero Lakes Estates M.S.T.U. <br />2. This entry is to reimburse Fund 109 - Secondary Road Construction and Fund 111 - <br />Transportation Fund for funding originally provided to cover the shortfall in Vero Lakes <br />Estates Fund in 1988/89 for the 87th Street (C.R. 510 - 101 st Avenue) paving and drainage <br />improvement project. <br />3. This entry is to reimburse Fund 111 - Transportation Fund for the cost of 91 st Ave. (79th <br />Street - 87th Street) paving and drainage improvement project. Project was completed April, <br />1994. <br />4. This entry will move cash from the Court Facility Fund to the Optional Sales Tax Fund, <br />$150,000 will go toward Courthouse furnishings and $3,000 will be used to purchase a <br />Personal Computer to 'tie the Law Library to the Main Library and Courthouse legal <br />information. <br />5. In fiscal year 1993/94 a matching grant was approved and received by the EMS Department <br />for the purpose of purchasing seven (7) twelve -lead monitor/pacemaker/defibrillators. The <br />items were not received until fiscal year 1994/95: This entry will appropriate the funding. <br />6. Increase current year budget for SHIP program fund balance carried forward for program <br />expenditure disbursements in current year. <br />7. To allocate funding for Anti -Drug Abuse Grant to purchase surveillance equipment. <br />S. This entry represents the County's portion of the Property Appraisers legal fees with regard <br />to the Piper delinquent taxes as approved by the Board of County Commissioners at their <br />September 27, 1994 meeting. Total legal fees were only $6,009 of which the Board of <br />County Commissioners portion is $5,396. <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve the attached budget amendment 014. <br />5 aooK 94 FAA 687 <br />MARCH 28, 1995 <br />
