Consultant will provide coordination of project status meetings and observation of <br />construction for the duration of the project. Consultant will also review pay requests and <br />provide recommendations for payment to IRCU for the progress of the work. Consultant <br />will attend up to 2 progress meetings. <br />Consultant will provide up to four (4) site visits during construction and installation of <br />temporary and proposed equipment at periods appropriate to the stages of construction to <br />observe the progress to observe if in general, the work is proceeding in accordance with <br />the Contract specifications. Consultant's duties will consist of witnessing installation, <br />testing and startup of the temporary storage/feed setup and the proposed (permanent) bulk <br />chemical tanks. <br />Consultant will provide reviews of Requests for Additional Information from the <br />Contractor. No more than two (2) RFIs are anticipated as part of this project. <br />Consultant will provide reviews of change orders submitted by the contractor. No more <br />than two (2) change orders are anticipated as part of this project. <br />Once each new tank is constructed, tested and ready to be placed into service, Consultant <br />will prepare request for clearance to place component into operation. It is assumed that <br />the tanks will be constructed sequentially, so two (2) requests to FDEP will be required — <br />one (1) partial request after the first tank is constructed, and one (1) final request after the <br />second tank is constructed. <br />Consultant will prepare a "punch list" for the items that need to be completed for final <br />closeout of the project. Consultant will provide two (2) site visits with the contractor to <br />review the status of the completion of these punch -list items. Consultant will prepare and <br />submit certificate of substantial and final completion. <br />TIME SCHEDULE <br />Services for Task 1 are dependent on the Contractor and construction contract duration, <br />which is not anticipated to exceed 6 months. <br />FEE SCHEDULE <br />We will provide these services in accordance with our Continuing Consulting <br />Engineering Services Agreement for Professional Services dated April 17th, 2018, by and <br />between INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, a political subdivision of the State of Florida <br />("COUNTY") and Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc., ("Consultant"). <br />The Consultant will provide professional services for a lump sum fee as follows: <br />C:\Users\karren.walter\AppData\Locai\Microsoft\Windows\MetCache\Content.Outlook\9SCOM400\20200630 - Hobart Chem Tank <br />Scope.docx Page 2 of <br />
