Coordination: Coordinate with other Work which affects, connects with, or will be con- <br />cealed by this Work <br />3.2 INSTALLATION <br />A. Venting <br />1. Provide for interior venting; install one-way moisture relief vents at an approxi- <br />mate rate of one vent per 1500 square feet of roof area. <br />2. Locate vent locations symmetrically by chalk line. Refer to Contract Drawing for <br />one-way vent layout. <br />3. Core 6” dia. hole in LWIC system down to but do not damage temporary mem- <br />brane. <br />4. Fill void in LWIC with fiberglass batt insulation. <br />5. Refer to Section 07 52 16-Modified Bitumen Roofing for specific flashing re- <br />quirements: <br />a. Prime both sides of metal flange and set in bed of roof cement. <br />b. Strip-in flange to base ply with stripping ply and cold adhesive. Stripping <br />ply shall extend a minimum of 4” onto base ply and fit closely to lip of <br />vertical sleeve. <br />c. Install elastomeric sealant in void between surface ply and base of <br />sleeve. <br />6. Install elastomeric sealant in void between surface ply and base of sleeve. <br />3.3 CLEANING <br />A. During the course of the Work and on completion, remove and dispose of excess materi- <br />als, equipment and debris away from premises. <br />END OF SECTION 07 72 00
