ARTICLE III <br />BOARD OF TRUSTEES <br />SECTION 3.01. APPOINTMENT OF TRUSTEES. The Trust shall be <br />operated and administered by a Board of Trustees consisting of six <br />members. Three Trustees shall be appointed by and serve at the <br />pleasure of the County Association and three Trustees shall be <br />appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the Clerk's Association. <br />Upon appointment, each Trustee shall execute, acknowledge and <br />deliver to the Board and the organization responsible for such <br />Trustee's appointment an instrument in writing accepting such <br />appointment hereunder, and thereupon such Trustee, without any <br />further act, shall become fully vested with all the estates, <br />properties, rights, powers, trusts, duties and obligations of a <br />Trustee. Each Trustee shall be appointed for a term of one year <br />or until his or her successor is appointed and qualified as <br />provided herein. There shall be no limit upon the number of <br />successive terms to be served by any Trustee. Trustees' terms <br />shall commence on July 1. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the term <br />of the initial Trustees shall commence on the effective date of <br />this Agreement and expire on June 30, 1992. <br />The initial Trustees of the Trust are as follows: <br />Name Appointing organization <br />Robert L. RESIGNATIONS. <br />Any Trustee may resign by delivering, either by mail or in <br />person, his or her written resignation to the Chairman of the Board <br />and the organization responsible for such Trustee's appointment. <br />Any person appointed to serve as a Trustee while serving as a <br />County Commissioner, Clerk of the Circuit Court or County <br />Comptroller shall be deemed to resign as a Trustee on the date such <br />person (A) ceases to hold such office or (B) is suspended from such <br />office, notwithstanding any subsequent reinstatement. Any person <br />who ceases being a Trustee for whatever reason shall forthwith turn <br />over to the remaining Trustees, at the principal office of the <br />Trust, any and all records, books, documents, property or other <br />assets in his or her possession owned by the Trust or by the Board <br />incident to the fulfillment of this Agreement and the <br />administration of the Trust.
