37 <br />1 (b) TRANSITION.—The Director of the Federal <br />2 Emergency Management Agency (hereafter in this title re - <br />3 ferred to as the "Director") may pay amounts under flood <br />4 insurance contracts for demolition or relocation of strue- <br />5 tures as provided in section 1306(c) of the National Flood <br />6 Insurance Act of 1968 (as in effect immediately before the <br />7 date of enactment of this Act) only during the 1 -year pe - <br />8 riod beginning on the date of enactment of this Act. <br />9 SEC. 406. UMTATIONS ON NEW FLOOD INSURANCE COV - <br />10 ERAGE IN EROSION HAZARD AREAS. <br />11 The National Flood Insurance Act of 1968 (42 <br />12 U.S.C. 4001 et seq.) is amended by inserting after section <br />13 1313 the following new section: <br />14 "SEC. 1914. PROPERTIES LOCATED w11m18o-YEAR AND 80. <br />15 YEAR EROSION HAZARD AREAS. <br />16 "(a) PROPERTIES LOCATED WITHIN 30 -YEAR. ERO- <br />17 SION HAZARD AREA.—After the establishment of erosion <br />18 hazard areas under section 1360(i), the Director may not <br />19 make flood insurance available within a 30 year erosion <br />20 hazard area with respect to any new - <br />21 "(1) construction; or <br />22 "(2) addition to an existing structure, if the ad - <br />23 dition makes the structure not readily movable. <br />24 "(b) PROPERTIES LOCATED WITHIN 60 --YEAR ERO- <br />25 SION HAZARD AREA AND OUTSIDE 30 -YEAR EROSION <br />08 14M is ` <br />
