38 <br />I <br />HAZARD AREA.—After the establishment of erosion haz- <br />2 <br />and areas under section 1360(i), the Director may not <br />3 <br />make flood insurance available with respect to any ne«•- <br />4 <br />"(1) nonresidential structure; <br />5 <br />"(2) residential structure that is not readily <br />6 <br />movable; or <br />7 <br />- "(3) addition to an existing structure, if the ad - <br />8 <br />dition makes the structure not readily movable; <br />9 <br />that is constructed or relocated landward of the 30 -year <br />10 <br />erosion hazard area and within the 60 year erosion hazard <br />11 <br />area established by the Director under such section.". <br />12 <br />sEC. 407. RnmuNE EROSION sTIJDY. <br />13 <br />(a) STUDY.—The Director shall conduct a study to <br />14 <br />determine the feasibility of identifying and establishing <br />15 <br />riverine erosion hazard areas, erosion rates, and baseline <br />16 <br />reference features, and the best methods of community <br />17 <br />management of such hazards consistent with section 1361 <br />18 <br />of the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968. In conduct - <br />19 <br />ing the study, the Director shall - <br />20 <br />(1) investigate and assess existing and state -of - <br />21 <br />the -art technical methodologies for assessing riverine <br />22 <br />erosion; <br />23 <br />(2) examine and evaluate natural riverine proc- <br />24 <br />esses, environmental conditions, human -induced <br />25 <br />ehanges to the banks of rivers and streams, exam- <br />.S 1403 1S <br />
