These erosion rates shall <br />be used to identify areas that are subject to erosion <br />hazards within a 60 -year period (hereafter referred <br />to as the `60 year erosion hazard area'), and for <br />areas that are subject to erosion hazards within a <br />30 year period (hereafter referred to as the `30 -year <br />erosion hazard area') as measured from a baseline <br />reference feature. On each flood insurance rate map, <br />the Director shall identify and provide legible demar- <br />cation of the taseline reference feature. The Direc- <br />tor may also provide for legible demarcation of ero- <br />sion hazard areas where map scale or other limita- <br />tions allow for such demarcation. <br />-8140518 <br />
