McCoy, AICP 21, to <br />Senior Planner, Current Development <br />DATE: April 10, 1995 <br />SUBJECT: Brandon Capital Corp.'s Request for Final Plat Approval <br />for the Village of Lexington at Lake -in -the -Woods <br />It is requested that the data herein presented be given formal <br />consideration by the Board of County Commissioners at its regular <br />meeting of April 18, 1995. <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS: <br />The Village of Lexington is a 37 unit subdivision of a 14.69 acre <br />parcel of land located in the southern portion of the Lake -in -the - <br />Woods development, just east of the Fountains of Vero. The subject <br />property is zoned RM -61 Residential Multi -Family (up to 6 units per <br />acre) and has a land use designation of L-2, Low Density 2 (up to <br />6 units/acre). The density of the subdivision is 2.52 units/acre. <br />The applicant received site plan approval to construct 26 attached <br />duplex units and 11 detached units. At the June 23, 1994 Planning <br />and Zoning Commission meeting, the applicant also received <br />preliminary plat approval to "plat over" the site planned <br />development. <br />The developer, Brandon Capital Corp., subsequently obtained a land <br />development permit and has completed construction of all required <br />subdivision improvements. The developer is now requesting final <br />plat approval and has submitted the following: <br />1. A final plat in conformance with the approved preliminary plat <br />and development site plan; and <br />2.
