Administrative Policy Manual Number AM - 807.1 Comment 6 <br />"Appeals Process" is amended as follows: <br />1. 6 . a . 2 the phrase "seven working days" is changed to read <br />"fourteen working days" <br />2. 6.b. "Board of County Commissioners" is deleted except to <br />the extent set forth in the footnote to 6.a.4. <br />3. A new 6. a. 3 & 4 is ,added with footnote to read as follows: <br />3. In the event that the supervisor of the employee is the <br />County Administrator, the County Attorney or the Executive <br />Aide to the Commission, that County officer, as appropriate, <br />- shall conduct the pre -termination hearing as well as the <br />post -termination hearing. <br />4. The decision of the County Administrator, County <br />Attorney or Executive aide to the Commission, as appropriate, <br />shall be final and binding on the parties, without further <br />right of appeal.' <br />' This procedure shall not apply to those employees who are in the <br />bargaining unit currently under negotiations with the County and <br />represented by the Teamsters unless or until they are agreed to in <br />the bargaining process. The appeal process provided under 6B <br />shall remain for these employees. In addition the time extension of <br />7 to 14 days shall remain at 7 days for these employees. <br />23 BOOK 94 <br />APRIL 18, 1995 <br />
