He asserted that, basically, Miss <br />Freeman appeared to be a very good employee until ,a particular <br />woman was hired. He declared that the woman, with whom she had a <br />personality conflict, became Lisa's "supervisor." Lisa's <br />relationship with Mr. King deteriorated because that woman made the <br />statement that Lisa Freeman had Mr. King fooled, and it was going <br />to be her task to see that he no longer was fooled. From that <br />point on, everything Lisa did was micro -managed to the extent that <br />they actually stood over her shoulder while she was typing and, <br />because of that, she wrote a letter to Director Wright that she <br />felt like she was being harassed and that letter was "like a bomb." <br />It seemed, from that point on, as if the effort was not to try to <br />rehabilitate Lisa, but to try to build a case to get rid of her <br />because they had no idea what she meant by harassment. She <br />certainly didn't mean• sexual harassment but that her work <br />atmosphere was such that she didn't feel free to do her job, that <br />she was, in fact, being harassed. <br />Attorney Stone related that earlier evaluation reports <br />revealed that Lisa was a willing employee, got along with everyone, <br />and had no problem with fellow workers until this particular <br />9 BOOK 94 i;,I,F 999 <br />April 24, 1995 <br />
