PROCLAMATION <br />Chairman Macht read the following Proclamation: <br />PROCLAMATION <br />WHEREAS, the Indian River Aasocia-t,ton for the Education of Young <br />Children and other loeal organizations, in conjunction <br />with the National Assoc)4tton for the Education of Young <br />Children, are celebrating the WEER OF THE YOUNG CHILD, <br />April 23 - 29, 1995; and <br />WHEREAS, by calling attention to the need for high-quality early <br />childhood services for all children and families within <br />ouz- community, these groups hope to improve the quality <br />and availability of such services; and <br />WHEREAS, the future of our community depends on the quality of the <br />early childhood experiences provided to young children <br />today; and <br />WHEREAS, high-quality early childhood services represent a worthy <br />commitment to our children's future: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED by the Indian River County Board <br />of County Commissioners that the week of April 23 - 29, <br />1995 be designated as <br />THE WEEK OF THE YOUNG CHILD <br />in Indian River County, and the Board urges all citizens <br />to recognize and support the needs -of young children in <br />our community. <br />Adopted this 25 day of April, 1995 <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />Ap <br />Kenneth R.
