• Requiring employees within their department to participate in safety training <br /> activities; <br /> • Requiring that all relevant safety information is communicated and used in <br /> decision-making; <br /> Supervisor Role and Responsibilities <br /> All Supervisors are accountable and responsible for: <br /> • The safety performance of all personnel and equipment under their supervision; <br /> • Implementing and maintaining safety-related control measures/mitigations; <br /> • Familiarizing employees with the safety requirements and hazards associated <br /> with the work to be performed; <br /> • Responding to identified hazards that may impact safety performance; <br /> • Reporting all mishaps and incidents; <br /> • Sharing lessons learned from incidents; and <br /> • Implementing and adhering to SMS procedures and processes within their span <br /> of control. <br /> • In addition,the Safety and Training Supervisor is responsible for advising Senior <br /> Resource Association leadership on safety- related issues. <br /> Senior Resource Association Employee Responsibilities <br /> All Senior Resource Association employees are responsible for: <br /> • Becoming familiar with the safety procedures for their assigned work activity; <br /> • Performing their work safely; <br /> • Following procedures and rules; <br /> • Calling attention to hazards that may impact safety performance; and <br /> • Reporting mishaps and incidents to their Supervisor,in accordance with <br /> established requirements for the protection of themselves, co-workers, customers, <br /> facilities, and equipment. <br /> 93 <br />
