Tuesday, May 2, 1995 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, May 2, 1995, at <br />9:00 a.m. Present were Kenneth R. Macht, Chairman; Fran B. Adams, <br />Vice Chairman; Richard N. Bird; Carolyn K. Eggert; and John W. <br />Tippin. Also present were James E. Chandler, County <br />Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney; and Barbara <br />Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and Commissioner <br />Bird led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Macht requested the following additions to today's <br />Agenda: <br />7-F Proclamation - Soil & Water Stewardship Week <br />13-A-2 NACo Conference in July <br />13-A-3 Support of pending legislation re legal notices for <br />government meetings. <br />13-A-4 Brief comment on National Volunteer Week <br />Commissioner Adams requested the addition of Item 10-B <br />Discussion on whether or not there is a need for a BCC meeting next <br />week. <br />Later in the meeting, Commissioner Eggert requested the <br />addition of 13-D - Advertisement of May 18, 1995 workshop meeting <br />on utility policies and incentives for economic development and <br />affordable housing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously added the <br />above items to today's Agenda. <br />APPROVAL OF AIENUTES <br />The Chairman asked if there were any additions or corrections <br />to the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of April 4, 1995., . <br />MAY 2 1995 1 94 9 Do <br />
