BOOK 94 PP,, j65 <br />Commissioner Eggert noted that on Page 73 it indicates that a <br />letter would be sent, but she discovered we had to move faster than <br />that and she took it on her own to telephone each of the <br />legislators from her home phone. She felt we would be more <br />successful if we called them individually. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously approved <br />the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of April 4, 1995, <br />with the above addition. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />A. Proclamation - Tourism Week in IRC <br />PROCLAMATION <br />WHEREAS, the travel and tourism industry carries tremendous <br />importance for Indian River County, contributing to our <br />employment, economic prosperity, international trade and <br />relations; peace, understanding and goodwill; and <br />WHEREAS, every citizen benefits from the effects of travel and <br />tourism.
