BOOK 95 PACE 90 <br />Commissioner Eggert requested clarification of the footnote at <br />the top of Page 5 of the proposed Ordinance. <br />9. Hours of Display for Open House Signs <br />Director Boling advised that this changes the regulations to <br />make them agree with what is now required for model homes. <br />10. Development Project Soils Certification Requirement <br />Director Boling explained that this amendment addresses soil <br />suitability and allows a more practical approach to the <br />certification requirement. <br />11. Ordinance Tent References to. Public Works Staff <br />Director Boling advised that this amendment covers several <br />sections of the existing ordinance by replacing "division heads <br />that are under the Public Works Director" with the term "Public <br />Works Director or his designee". <br />12. Minimum Driveway Widths for Certain Residential Projects <br />Director Boling reviewed the proposal for the Board, and <br />Commissioner Adams asked for an example. Director Boling responded <br />that for a multi -family project that had less than the projected - <br />1500 average daily trips, rather than having to have 22 feet of <br />pavement for a driveway within the project, a 20 foot paving width <br />could be allowed since it has been determined that the number of <br />trips that are actually generated and vehicles that are using that <br />roadway could function just as we allow for a single-family <br />neighborhood. <br />13. Parking Lot Tire Stop Requirements <br />Director Boling explained that this amendment is to eliminateā¢ <br />a waiver provision, including the criteria to protect landscape and <br />pedestrian areas, with a provision to omit the requirement in the <br />midst of internal parking spaces. <br />14. Classification Standards for Driveways and Minimum <br />Distances for Rights -of -Way <br />Director Boling stated that this item is the one where there <br />is a difference between the recommendations of staff, the Planning <br />& Zoning Commission and the Professional Services Advisory <br />Committee.
