Mark Renninger responded <br />that since there is 4" of roof insulation existing, and 4" of roof insulation going back on the roof, <br />the rooftop units should not need to be raised. <br />3. A contractor asked about arranging a site visit to the project site (in addition to the site visit <br />scheduled following the Pre -Bid meeting). After a review by County Staff, One additional site visit <br />can be arranged. To arrange a site visit, a request must be made to the Purchasing Division no <br />later than 9AM Monday June 18, 2018. The additional site visit will be scheduled based on requests <br />received and will be noticed via addendum. <br />4. A question was asked regarding the condition of the rooftop units. Mark Renninger responded <br />that the condition is good, and generally consistent throughout the units. Mark added that there is <br />a future penetration included on the plans that the roofing contractor will need to flash in. <br />5. A contractor asked for clarification regarding the steel deck repair included in the plans/specs. <br />Mark Renninger explained that the steel deck repair is based on the level of corrosion found, if any. <br />6. A question was asked regarding the wood block nailers shown on the plans. Based on a review <br />of the project plans, the wood block nailers are to be replaced as part of the project. <br />Z A question was asked regarding additional submittals required for the City of Sebastian Building <br />Permit. Mark Renninger responded that the engineering for the project is complete, but the <br />contractor will need to submit Florida Product Approval documentation and a fastening plan based <br />on the specific products selected for the project. <br />With no further questions or comments, the meeting was ended at 10:23AM. A site visit followed to <br />the Sebastian Corners project site with several contractors in attendance. . <br />
