Funding: <br />This SJRWMD Cost -Share Grant will pay $1,346,517.00, or 33%, of the estimated total construction cost <br />of $4,080,354. Allocations from other funding sources are as follows: <br />• Indian River County Optional Sales Tax, which is estimated to be $1,041,396.00. These funds are <br />a placeholder for costs that are not covered by construction grants. <br />• FDEP funding award of $2,500,000.00. Please note that agreement has been executed. <br />• IRLNEP Cost -Share Grant funding award of $204,018.00. Please note that agreement has been <br />executed. <br />• FY 20-21 Appropriations Project Request award of $750,000.00, which has been included in the <br />FDEP Water Quality Restoration Grant LPQ0019 as Amendment No. 1. <br />Table 2 below shows all funding sources: <br />Funding Source <br />For Sewer <br />Legislative <br />$ 750,000.00 <br />SJRWMD <br />$1,346 ' 517.00 <br />IRLNEP <br />$ 204,18.00 <br />FDEP <br />$ 2,500,000.00 <br />Optional Sales Tax, Indian River County <br />$ 1,041,396.00 <br />TOTAL <br />$ 5,841,931.00 <br />Recommendation: <br />Staff recommends approval of the following: <br />• St. Johns River Water Management District Cost -Share Agreement No. 35822 and requests the <br />Board of County Commissioners (BCC) to authorize the Chairman to execute the same on their <br />behalf. <br />• Amendment No. 1 to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection Water Quality <br />Restoration Grant LPQ0019 Agreement and requests the BCC to authorize the Chairman to <br />execute the same on their behalf. <br />• Advertise the North Sebastian Water and Sewer Phase 2 Project for competitive bids. <br />• Request staff prepare Resolution 1 and 2 for the water portion of the project to be brought back <br />to the BCC at a later date. <br />• Request staff obtain a proposal from Masteller and Moler, Inc., for construction phase assistance <br />to be approved by the BCC at a later date.
