M <br />ORDINANCE 95-10 <br />1. Vehicles shall not encroach upon landscape or <br />pedestrian areas. Such areas shall be protected by <br />curbing, tire stops, or the equivalent. Designs <br />may be approved that allow for up to 3 feet of <br />vehicle overhang into landscape areas if such <br />overhang would not interfere with landscaping. <br />Vehicle overhang into pedestrian areas may be <br />allowed if such overhang allows for a clear <br />Dedestrian path width of at least 4 feet. <br />2. Vehicles shall not abut, or "head into" one <br />another in any fashion other than bumper to bumper, <br />unless tire stops or the equivalent are provided. <br />In such cases where bumper to bumper parking is <br />arranged, tire stops are not required. <br />3. Traffic direction markers shall be <br />installed at all intersections as designated by the <br />public works director or his designee <br />• Drives and maneuvering areas shall <br />provide proper turning radii to permit convenient <br />maneuvering of cars and service vehicles into and <br />out of each parking lot area, parking space and <br />loading space. No parking or loading space shall <br />interfere with access to any other parking wor <br />loading space, or with any pedestrian walkway. <br />(d) Access points to public or private streets shall be <br />kept to a minimum.
