Board of County Commissioners Meeting Minutes - Final January 25, 2021 <br />and the Health Department would be contacting those individuals. She informed <br />the Board that the Health Department received direction from the Department of <br />Health to implement and verify the residency requirements for the vaccinations. <br />Ms. Hawker shared what limited information had been provided on the State's <br />vaccination registration system (Sharecare). Ms. Hawker confirmed that the <br />Sharecare had wait list capability and detailed the timeline for the completion of the <br />data integration with Florida SHOTS. She advised that any other software <br />platform trying to integrate with Florida SHOTS would be a lower priority. <br />Director of Emergency Services and Chief Tad Stone updated the Board on the <br />timeline for the rollout of Sharecare for the County and he indicated there was no <br />discussion from the State on whether the wait list functionality would be available <br />at the time of the rollout. <br />Ms. Hawker and Chief Stone, in response to the Board's concerns regarding the <br />limited information available on the Sharecare, confirmed they had seen a demo of <br />Sharecare in action and the system had call center capability and online registration <br />upon rollout. Chief Stone stated approximately 22 counties were going with <br />Sharecare with Miami Dade, Duval and Seminole counties currently utilizing the <br />system. Vice Chairman O'Bryan felt that the County could no longer go with the <br />current vaccination scheduling process and suggested taking a 30 to 60 minute <br />break, for staff to obtain additional information on how Sharecare was working in <br />the other counties. A discussion ensued with a recap of the discussion on <br />Sharecare with County Administrator Jason Brown pointing out that the demo he <br />saw did not display any information on the wait list functionality. <br />6. COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR MATTERS <br />6.A. 21-0189 Update on Vaccination Registration Options <br />Recommended Action: Staff Recommends Option 2 -- Utilize the Luminare Innoculate solution. Find that <br />it is in the interest of the County to waive bidding requirements based upon the <br />urgency to implement this solution.
