The purpose of this Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Agreement is to provide <br />construction administration, inspection and testing services for the upcoming 66th Avenue <br />improvements from 49th Street to 69th Street which will consist of the widening and reconstruction <br />of the existing roadway to a 4 -lane divided roadway section within the project limits. Curb and <br />gutter and a raised median will be provided. An 8' wide concrete sidewalk will be provided on the <br />west side of the roadway. There are 5 bridges within the project limits. The side streets on the east <br />and west of the intersection approaches will be widened to a 3 -lane roadway section. Also <br />included will be five-foot bike lanes, stormwater drainage improvements, pavement markings, <br />traffic signals and landscape and irrigation improvements. This CEI services Agreement is for a total <br />lump sum amount of $4,498,533.42. <br />FUNDING <br />Funding is available in the Traffic Impact Fees/District 2 Roads/Construction Progress/66th Ave/49th <br />Street to 69th Street account (10215241-066510-07806) in the amount of $4,498,533.42. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends approval of Agreement with Consor Engineers, LLC, authorizing the professional <br />services as outlined in the Scope of Services and requests the Board authorize the Chairman to <br />execute Agreement on their behalf for a lump sum amount of $4,498,533.42. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />CEI Agreement <br />Attachment "A" <br />Attachment "B" <br />Attachment "C" <br />AGENDA ITEM FOR MARCH 9, 2021 <br />86 <br />
