DeBraal - Deputy County Attorney <br />DATE: April 20, 2021 <br />ATTORNEY <br />SUBJECT: Resolution Cancelling Taxes on Property Purchased from Catherine C. <br />Detko for a Future Stormwater Facility and for Drainage Purposes <br />A Resolution has been prepared for the purpose of earmarking the public use of the <br />property and cancelling any delinquent, omitted or current taxes which may exist on the <br />property purchased by Indian River County: <br />Public Purpose: future stormwater facility and for drainage purposes <br />Location/Description: 7205 8h Street, Vero Beach, FL 32968 <br />Purchased from: Catherine C. Detko, a single adult <br />Instrument: Warranty Deed recorded in Book 3411, Page 2342, <br />Public Records of Indian River County, Florida <br />FUNDING: <br />There is no cost associated with this item. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Authorize the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners to execute the <br />Resolution to cancel certain taxes upon the property purchased by Indian River County <br />for a public purpose, and the Clerk to send a certified copy of the Resolution to the Tax <br />Collector and the Property Appraiser so that any delinquent or current taxes can be <br />cancelled. <br />/nhm <br />Attachment: Resolution <br />cc: Carole Jean Jordan - Tax Collector <br />Wesley Davis - Property Appraiser <br />180 <br />
