Division 2 - Technical Provisions, IRC -2022 <br />3. Product: All materials shall be new and unused. The length of the curb inlet filtration <br />device shall be at least 2 -feet longer than the curb inlet opening. <br />a. "GUTTERBUDDY," supplied by ACF Environmental, Inc. (1-800-448-3636). <br />b. Or equivalent. <br />F. Catch Basin Protection: <br />1. Filter stormwater before it enters catch basins (drop inlets). The filter "sack" shall be <br />manufactured from woven polypropylene geotextile and sewn by a double -needle <br />machine, using a high strength nylon thread. The sack shall be manufactured to fit <br />the opening of the catch basin or drop inlet and it shall have the following features: <br />two dump straps attached at the bottom to facilitate emptying; lifting loops as an <br />integral part of the system to be used to lift the sack from the basin; and a colored <br />restraint chord approximately halfway up the sack to keep the sides away from the <br />catch basin walls. The colored restraint chord shall also serve as a visual means of <br />indicating when the sack should be emptied. <br />2. Installation: Install in each catch basin in accordance with the manufacturer's <br />specifications. Use as many of the specified filtration devices as required, at no <br />additional cost to the OWNER. <br />3. Product: All materials shall be new and unused. <br />a. "SILTSACK" (regular flow), supplied by ACF Environmental, Inc. (1-800-448- <br />3636). <br />b. "FloGuard+PLUS," supplied by Kristar Enterprises, Inc. (1-800-579-8819). <br />C. Or equivalent. <br />G. Construction Site Egress Driveways: Minimize the transport of sediment and soil from the <br />construction site or work area by vehicle wheels. Construct a crushed rock driving surface <br />at the vehicle exit point(s). Locate the site egress driveways a minimum of 25 feet from all <br />drainage inlets or pipes. Provide an area large enough to remove the sediment and soil from <br />vehicle wheels before the vehicle leaves the construction site or work area. Provide wash - <br />down stations as required to wash vehicle tires and retain all washwater on-site. Do not use <br />limerock. <br />H. Rock and Stone for Erosion Control and Pollution Control and Treatment: <br />1. Crushed Limerock: Limerock shall not be used under any circumstance. <br />2. Acceptable Material: FDOT #4 non -calcareous aggregate, washed and meeting the <br />requirements of FDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, <br />Section 901. <br />Hay Bales: Hay bales shall not be used. <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br />A.
