IRC -1764 <br />SECTION 00100 — Advertisement for Bids <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />1801 2rh Street <br />Vero Beach, Florida 32960 <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />Sealed bids will be received by Indian River County until 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 29, <br />2021. Each bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall bear the name and address of <br />the bidder on the outside and the words " INDIAN RIVER COUNTY COURTHOUSE ROOF <br />REPLACEMENT and Bid No. 2021036". Bids should be addressed to Purchasing Division, <br />Room 131-301, 1800 27th Street, Vero Beach, Florida 32960. All bids will be opened publicly and <br />read aloud at 2:00 P.M. All bids received after 2:00 P.M., on the day specified above, will not be <br />accepted or considered. <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PROJECT NO. IRC -1764 <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BID NO. 2021036 <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION. The project involves the replacement of the low slope roofing <br />assemblies of the Indian River County Courthouse, located at 2000 161 Avenue, Vero <br />Beach, FL 32960. The project includes the removal and disposal of the existing roof system <br />(approximately 48,750 square feet) including flashings and sheet metal down to the <br />existing light weight insulating concrete deck. The existing roof system will be replaced <br />with a new modified bitumen roofing assembly to provide a complete, watertight, 20 -year <br />warrantable roof system. <br />All material and equipment furnished and all work performed shall be in strict accordance <br />with the plans, specifications, and contract documents pertaining thereto. Detailed specifications <br />are available at: www.demandstar.com or at www.ircgov.com/departments/budget/purchasing <br />under "Current Solicitations". <br />All bidders shall submit one (1) original and one (1) copy of the Bid Proposal forms provided <br />within the specifications. Please note that the questionnaire must be filled out completely including <br />the financial statement. BID SECURITY must accompany each Bid, and must be in the form of <br />an AIA Document A310 Bid Bond, properly executed by the Bidder and by a qualified surety, or <br />a certified check or a cashier's check, drawn on any bank authorized to do business in the State <br />of Florida.
