IRC -1764 <br />of the bid, made payable to Indian River County Board of County Commissioners. In the event <br />the Contract is awarded to the Bidder, Bidder will enter in a Contract with the County and furnish <br />the required 100% Public Construction Bond and certificates of insurance within the timeframe <br />set by the County. If Bidder fails to do so, the Bid Security shall be retained by the County as <br />liquidated damages and not as penalty. <br />The County reserves the right to delay awarding of the Contract for a period of ninety (90) <br />days after the bid opening, to waive informalities in any bid, or reject any or all bids in whole or in <br />part with or without cause/or to accept the bid that, in its judgement, will serve the best interest of <br />Indian River County, Florida. The County will not reimburse any Bidder for bid preparation costs. <br />A MANDATORY Pre -Bid Conference will be held on Wednesday.
