AD VALOREM FUNDS <br />5.A. Ad Valorem Millage and Ad Valorem Budget <br />General Fund <br />21-0812 Proposed millage is 3.5475 and is 3.54% above rolled back rate of 3.4262. The <br />proposed budget is $105,771,570. <br />Attachments: General Fund <br />Management and Budget Director Kristin Daniels stated the General Fund <br />proposed millage is 3.5475, 3.54% above the rolled back rate of 3.4262. The <br />proposed budget for the General Fund is $105,771,570. <br />Chairman Flescher opened the public hearing. <br />Joann Binford came before the Board to request a change in the Children's Services <br />verbiage that was being placed on the ballot. In response to Ms. Binford, County <br />Attorney Dylan Reingold stated as part of the Children's Services process and apart <br />from the Budget meetings, a separate Ordinance containing the Children's Services <br />verbiage for the ballot would come back to the Board for discussion. <br />There were no other speakers, the Chairman closed the hearing. <br />A motion was made by Vice Chairman O'Bryan, seconded by Commissioner <br />Adams, to adopt the tentative millage rate of 3.5475, 3.54% above the rolled <br />back rate of 3.4262, for the General Fund.
