EXHIBIT A <br />their immediate crisis, families have social connections that will provide them with emotional <br />support and concrete support in times of need. As the placing family addresses the crisis and <br />builds a network of support, they increase their ability to care for their child. After the hosting <br />arrangement ends, host families often maintain an ongoing relationship with the placing parents, <br />thus reducing social isolation and providing continued support to the family. <br />Funding is being requested to cover program costs for our Treasure Coast chapter's Indian River <br />County specific costs which include: facilitating hosting and mentoring arrangements, connecting <br />families in need with community resources, recruiting and training volunteers, and providing <br />outreach through community referral sources. <br />The projected number of unduplicated children to be served is one hundred (100) and forty-five <br />(45) adults. <br />
