The Chamber's Tourism Division performs this function and <br />oversees all industry activities related to the attraction of visitors in an effort to generate the highest level of <br />tourism -generated tax revenues and economic impact for the county and its businesses. <br />The Chamber Organization supports all program efforts providing additional resources, as well as overhead <br />for tourism programs and services. Bed tax funds are used for the staffing, marketing, advertising, public <br />relations, production of the Official Visitor Guide, five websites, Press Trips, trade/consumer shows, <br />postage, shipping and professional fees, and all other initiatives that will enhance and maintain the on-going <br />success of the tourism marketing plan. <br />The Chamber maintains a program reinforcing our county's reputation as a destination that provides visitors <br />with a quality experience. Our professional, award-winning advertising and marketing campaigns <br />demonstrate Indian River County as a safe, family -friendly destination and emphasize the unique <br />characteristics of the county appealing to a variety of targeted niche markets. Our technology-based <br />information, including county -wide tourism website and social media, continues to be updated, driving more <br />visitor traffic and enhancing the visitor experience in Indian River County. <br />For the FY 2021/2022 plan, we will focus our efforts on digital advertising, remarketing, native content, <br />video, sponsored stories, social media, and public relations to create awareness and drive increased <br />visitation to the destination while bringing more "heads on beads". We will also focus on creating awareness <br />around the new Treasure Coast Regional branding initiative as well as growing our other programs we <br />created to support niche markets.
