As participants in this program, the Library is responsible for awarding <br />scholarships to adults in Indian River County to earn a private high school diploma online and gain <br />career skills. A limited number of scholarships are available to qualified adult learners who are <br />looking to advance their careers, prepare for workforce entry, or continue their education. <br />This program is made possible to libraries through funding by the State of Florida through a <br />partnership with Smart Horizons Career Online High School. <br />Students can choose from one of the following career fields: <br />Child Care Education <br />Commercial Driving <br />Food and Hospitality <br />General Career Preparation <br />Home Care Professional <br />Security Professional <br />Hospitality and Leisure <br />Office Management <br />Retail Customer Service <br />To learn more about the program visit libraries.ircgov.com/cohs or email cohsgirclibrary.org. <br />AGENDA ITEM FOR JANUARY 18, 2022 <br />3 <br />
