<br />BACKGROUND
<br />On August 7, 2001 , the Board of County Commissioners approved a Developer' s Agreement with
<br />Han Shan Enterprises, Inc . (Richard Hibler) to construct a 6" diameter water main along a rear alley
<br />way, south of CR 512, between Barber Street and Laconia Street. Construction of the water main is
<br />now complete and the Department of Utility Services has accepted the associated facilities . The
<br />developer is now requesting reimbursement for the dedicated utilities in accordance with the
<br />agreement (see attached invoice) .

<br />The developer has requested final payment in the amount of $26, 535 . 00 . The approved developer' s
<br />agreement budgeted $30 771 . 27 for the project (see attached developer' s agreement) . The final
<br />payment results in a 13 . 6 % reduction in total project cost.
<br />RECOMMENDATION
<br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that the Board of County Commissioners
<br />approve payment to Han Shan Enterprises , Inc . in the amount of $26, 535 . 00 and authorize the
<br />Chairman to execute same, as presented .
