DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The County has been petitioned by Mary Gerardi , owner of a lot at 454 21st Place S . E . , for release <br />of a drainage and utility easement . The easement release is requested because a drainage culvert on <br />the lot was inadvertently placed along the opposite ( west) property line , outside of the existing <br />east) drainage easement ( see attached memorandum) . As such , the applicant is working with <br />county engineering staff to replace the existing easement with a new easement at the location of the <br />drainage culvert. In any event, the existing easement proposed for release is serving no public <br />purpose . <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />The request has been reviewed by Bell South Communications ; Florida Power & Light Corporation ; <br />T . C .I . Cable Corporation ; the Indian River County Utilities Department; the County Road & Bridge <br />and Engineering Divisions ; and the County surveyor . None of the reviewing agencies object to the <br />proposed release of easement .
