PART 2 -PRODUCTS <br />2.01 CONCRETE <br />A. Cement shall be Portland cement, ASTM C-150. <br />B. Aggregates for normal weight concrete shall meet the requirements of ASTM C- <br />33. <br />C. Mixing water for concrete shall be potable and meet the requirements of ASTM <br />C-94. <br />2.02 ACCESSORIES <br />A. Anchor slots, reglets and inserts of type, size and spacing required by trades <br />involved, and shown on plans. <br />B. Vapor Barrier: 6 mil Polyethylene Film, such as "visqueen". Refer to the <br />Building Plan Sections for specific applications. <br />C. Vapor Retarder: 10 mil vapor retarder such as Perminator by WJ Meadows. <br />Refer to the Building Plan Sections for specific applications. <br />D. Chemical Curing_ Compound: Application of a curing compound shall be made to <br />all slabs and such application shall conform to ASTM C-309. The compound <br />shall be applied in accordance with the recommendations of the manufacturer <br />immediately after any water sheen which may develop after finishing has <br />disappeared from the concrete surface. It shall not be used on any surface against <br />which additional concrete or other material is to be bonded unless it is proven that <br />the curing compound will not prevent bond, or unless positive measures are taken <br />to remove it completely from areas to receive bonded applications. <br />Acceptable materials shall be one of the following: <br />1. Burke Company Aqua resin Cure <br />2. Sika Corporation Sikagard Cure/Hard <br />3. Sonneborn Hydrocide <br />E. Expansion Joint Water Stops: Continuous, pre -formed, finned, center bulb type, <br />polyvinyl chloride, of sufficient width to provide 3" minimum embedment in <br />concrete each side. Equal to Greenstreak #703. <br />F. Pre -molded Joint Filler: Bituminous Fiber Type, ASTM D-1751-83 and D 545-77 <br />equal to "Celotex Flexcell" of thickness and width indicated or required. <br />03300-3 <br />
