RESOLUTION NO. 68- 11 <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners <br />of Indian River County, Florida: <br />THAT the Zoning Resolution of Indian River County, <br />Florida, heretofore adopted by this Board as amended, is hereby further <br />amended as follows, <br />as follows: <br />1. Paragraph 10 of Section 1,6 Is hereby amended to read <br />"10. No building shall be erected, constructed, <br />reconstructed or structurally altered unless and until <br />a certificate of zoning approval has been issued under <br />the authority of this Resolution, except as otherwise <br />specifically provided by this Resolution. The fees to <br />be paid to the County for such certificates of zoning <br />approval shall be the fees now or hereafter established <br />by Resolution of this Board and such fees as so estab- <br />Ilsbed shall be paid prior to the Issuance of any <br />certificate. " <br />2. Section 17 is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"SECTION 17. ADMINISTRATIVE PROVISIONS: <br />1. That this Board does herewith designate the <br />County Administrator as the employee of this Board to <br />enforce the provisions of said Chapter 21310, Laws of <br />Florida, Acts of 1941, and to enforce the provisions of <br />the zoning regulations. <br />2. When any owner, authorized agent or contractor <br />desires to construct, enlarge, alter or change, the occu- <br />pancy of a building or structure which is regulated by <br />said zoning resolution or to cause any such work to be <br />done, lie shall first make an application to the County Ad- <br />ministrator and obtain the required certificate of zoning <br />approval therefor. <br />3. Ordinary minor non-structural repairs not exceed- <br />ing in cost or value of labor or materials the sum of <br />$100.00 or one percent (17) of the assessed value of the <br />buibing for county tax purposes, whichever is less, may <br />be made without a certificate of zoning approval, provided <br />that such repairs shall not violate any of the provisions of <br />said zoning resolution. <br />4. Every application shall be submitted to the County <br />Administrator and shall contain a general description of <br />the proposed work and its location. The application shall <br />be signed by the owner or his authorized agent. <br />1 <br />
