Commissioner Tippin disagreed with the `plan but agreed that it <br />does meet the requirements of the Comp Plan. <br />Commissioner Adams agreed philosophically with Dr. Gilmore but <br />did not feel those concerns could be addressed in this particular <br />subdivision as it is within the guidelines adopted by the County. <br />She hoped Mr. Gilmore would share his philosophy on other projects <br />as well. <br />MOTION was made by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, that the Board approve the <br />requested PD special exception use approval and <br />corresponding request for waivers as described in <br />Item 18 of staff's memorandum for the development to <br />be known as Hammock Lakes, pursuant to staff's <br />recommendations. <br />Under discussion, Chairman Macht asked to review the number of <br />units, and Director Keating advised there would be 2.5 units per <br />acre and there were tradeoffs.
