BOOK 96 PAF <br />petitioners have moved and we are finding that there will be some <br />property owners who are not in support of paving the road. He just <br />wanted the Commissioners to be aware that staff feels an acreage <br />assessment is most appropriate for this project. Some of the <br />property owners feel that $780 an acre is too expensive and part of <br />that is due to the right-of-way acquisition. <br />Director Davis anticipated that the project can be completed <br />at a lower cost. Staff is recommending that the Board go forward <br />with an acreage assessment and schedule a public hearing on October <br />24, 1995. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board by a 4-0 vote <br />(Commissioner Eggert being absent) approved staff's <br />recommendations for assessment by acreage rather <br />than front footage, and adopted Resolution 95-128, <br />providing for certain paving and drainage <br />improvements to 1st Street SW (R.D.
