ON MOTION by Commissioner Commissioner Eggert, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Tippin, the Board <br />unanimously (4-0, Commissioner Bird being absent), <br />adopted Ordinance 95-30 amending the Zoning <br />Ordinance and the Accompanying Zoning Map from IL to <br />RM -8, for the property located at the southwest <br />corner of 87th Street and 55th Avenue; and from A-1 <br />to CL for the property located on the north side of <br />82nd Street, east of US#1; and from RM -6 to CL for <br />the property located on the south side of 82nd <br />Street, east of US#1; and from RM -6 to CG for the <br />property located near the northeast corner of 85th <br />Street and 46th Avenue, as recommended. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 95- 29 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE <br />LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY CHANGING THE <br />LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR ±15 ACRES LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST <br />CORNER OF 87TH STREET AND 55TH AVENUE, FROM C/I TO M-1; AND BY <br />CHANGING THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR ±8.8 ACRES LOCATED ON <br />THE NORTH SIDE OF 82ND STREET, EAST OF U.S. #1, FROM M-1 TO <br />C/I; AND BY CHANGING THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR.±0.7.ACRES <br />LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF 82ND STREET, EAST OF U.S. #1, <br />FROM M-1 TO C/I; AND BY CHANGING THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR <br />±5.5 ACRES LOCATED NEAR THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF 85TH STREET <br />AND 46TH AVENUE, FROM M-1 TO C/I; AND REDUCING THE U.S. <br />#1/C.R. 510 (NORTH) COMMERCIAL/ INDUSTRIAL NODE FROM ±293 ACRES <br />TO ±283.5 ACRES; AND ENLARGING THE U.S. #1 COMMERCIAL/ <br />INDUSTRIAL NODE, C.R. 510 TO HOBART ROAD (77TH STREET) FROM <br />±165 ACRES TO ±174.5 ACRES; AND PROVIDING SEVERABILITY AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners adopted the Indian <br />River County Comprehensive Plan on February 13, 1990, and <br />WHEREAS, the county received comprehensive plan amendment <br />applications during its January 1995 amendment submittal window, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Local Planning Agency held a public hearing on <br />all comprehensive plan amendment requests on April 27, 1995 after <br />due public notice, and <br />WHEREAS, the Local Planning Agency recommended approval of <br />this comprehensive plan amendment to the Board of County <br />Commissioners, and <br />111 <br />October 24, 1995 BOOK 96 Pare 9 <br />
