P11 mp <br />DIRECTOR OF UTILITY -BER -VICES <br />SUBJECT: FALCON CABLE <br />This memo is to advise you of the excessive complaints our <br />Department is receiving regarding Falcon Cables service and <br />quality of reception. <br />When we receive a complaint regarding service or reception, we <br />contact Falcon Cable immediately. The explanations Falcon has <br />given us as to why customers are experiencing so many problems are <br />unreasonable and unacceptable (i.e., not enough staff, faulty or <br />old equipment). <br />It is my recommendation that- we schedule a public hearing to <br />require Falcon Cable to take immediate steps to rectify the <br />problems with their system and to consistently provide the service.. <br />as is required per Section 18 of Ordinance 82-7. <br />If the cable company refuses <br />requirements, we may recommend <br />revoking their franchise. <br />to comply with the service <br />enforcement that may result in <br />Ren Vickers, regional manager of Falcon Cable T.V. in <br />Sebastian, apologized that a corporate representative was unable to <br />attend as invited by Chairman Macht in his letter of October 10, <br />1995: <br />118 <br />October 24, 1995 <br />
