Division 1—General Requirements, IRC -1639 <br />SECTION 01009 - SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br />fi�i�Nd\I� 7•�1 <br />A. Visits to the construction site may be made by representatives of permitting or <br />governing bodies. Submit details of all instructions from the above to the <br />ENGINEER immediately. The Work will not be accepted by the OWNER until final <br />acceptance has been received from the various Regulatory Agencies having <br />jurisdiction. <br />B. Furnish sufficient labor, construction equipment and materials, and work such <br />hours, including night shifts and overtime operations, as may be necessary to <br />insure the prosecution of the work in accordance with the approved progress <br />schedule. If, in the opinion of the ENGINEER, the CONTRACTOR falls behind the <br />progress schedule, take such steps as may be necessary to improve progress, all <br />without additional cost to the OWNER. The ENGINEER shall be compensated for <br />his overtime services in accordance with the Supplementary Conditions, SC -6.02. <br />C. All salvageable material and equipment for which specific use, relocation or other <br />disposal is not specifically noted, shall remain the property of the OWNER and <br />shall be delivered to the OWNER at the following location: 4550 41St Street, at the <br />CONTRACTOR's expense. All material and equipment not in salvageable <br />condition, as determined by the ENGINEER and the OWNER, shall be disposed of <br />by the CONTRACTOR, at the CONTRACTOR's expense. <br />D. In addition to these Specifications all work must comply with the requirements of <br />the local governing agency, St. Johns River Water Management District, <br />Department of Environmental Protection, Army Corps of Engineers, Indian River <br />Farms Water Control District, and all other applicable State or Federal agencies' <br />specifications and permits. In the event of a conflict, the more stringent <br />specification or requirement shall govern. <br />E. Before performing any work outside the designated limits of the work site, secure <br />any necessary permits and authorization from the applicable owner, or verify in <br />writing that such has been previously obtained. Follow all requirements of any <br />said permits or authorization.
