Division 1— General Requirements, IRC -1639 <br />B. The CONTRACTOR shall carefully preserve all control stakes, benchmarks, reference points <br />and property corners and will be responsible for any mistake or loss of time caused by their <br />unnecessary loss or disturbance. If the loss or disturbance of the stakes or marks cause a <br />delay in the Work, the CONTRACTOR shall have no claim for damages or extension of time. <br />Control stakes, benchmarks, reference points and property corners disturbed by the <br />CONTRACTOR's work shall be replaced by a Florida Registered Land Surveyor and Mapper, <br />at the CONTRACTOR's expense. In the event the Owner must provide the services of the <br />Florida Registered Surveyor and Mapper to perform this replacement work, the cost of the <br />surveying services will be deducted from any sums due the CONTRACTOR for the work <br />performed under this Contract. <br />C. All survey work shall be performed under the guidance and direction of a Florida Registered <br />Surveyor and Mapper. <br />D. All survey work for Record Drawings shall be performed by a Florida Registered Surveyor <br />and Mapper. <br />1.3 STATION BOARDS <br />A. CONTRACTOR shall erect and maintain white/black standard FDOT station markers every <br />100 feet. <br />1.4 LAYOUT OF STRIPING <br />A.
