No further comments or questions will be addressed from <br />end of business, March 20, 2022. <br />• Governing Standards and Specifications for this project will be FDOT Standard Specifications <br />for Road and Bridge Construction dated January 2019, FDOT Standard Plans FY 2018-19, and <br />Indian River County Standard Specifications. <br />• All testing will be performed per FDOT specifications, or as specified in the Contract <br />Documents. <br />• Sequence of construction: Watermain installation followed by FDR and asphalt. <br />• Review Contract Documents Division 2 —Technical Provisions, and Appendices A -D. <br />• Review Technical Provisions Section 283 — Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement Base. <br />• Permits for the project are provided in Appendix W. <br />• Review Appendix 'D'- Subsurface Soil Exploration and Geotechnical Engineering Evaluation. <br />• HDD required for a section of the watermain installation under IRFWCD Lateral 'G' Canal. <br />• Pressure pipe and associated watermain components to be used for the project are specified <br />in the Technical Provisions, Section -18, IRC Utilities Approved Manufactures' Products List. <br />• Coordination will be required with the Developer Project "Lost Tree Preserve". <br />• IRC work hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. <br />• Maintenance of Traffic: <br />o Contractor shall submit a Maintenance of Traffic Plan to the Indian River County, <br />Engineering Division for approval <br />o The Maintenance of Traffic Plan shall meet the requirements set forth in the FDOT Index <br />600, FY2020-2021 Edition and shall be signed and sealed by a Florida PE. <br />o Access for school, businesses and residences, school buses, sanitation & US Postal Service <br />and emergency vehicles must be maintained at all times. <br />o Temporary Lane Closures require notice to the IRC traffic department 72 -hours in advance <br />and can be conducted between 9 AM and 4 PM. <br />o Detour routes must be developed and signed by a Professional Engineer and approved by <br />the County. <br />• There will be an Addendum (that will include the Meeting Minutes) — Bidders to review plan <br />documents and provide comments to Purchasing (purchasing@ircgov.com) by end of business <br />March 20, 2022. <br />DISCUSSION <br />Questions & Answers <br />F:\Public Works\ENG I NEE RING DIVISION PROJECTS\1639 69th Street 66th Avenue to US -1 Resurfacing (SCOP)\1- <br />Admin\Meetings\Pre Bid\IRC-1639_PREBID_AG EN DA.docx <br />
