Can a Pavement Full Depth Reclamation subcontractor qualify the prime contractor for the FDR <br />experience requirement? <br />Yes, the intent of requirement is that the contractor performing the FDR work have 5 -years' experience <br />performing FDR. <br />3. What does Clearing and Grubbing include? <br />Clearing and Grubbing removal of 6 -inches of organic material, but does not include the cut section for the <br />roadway widening. <br />4. Is there afield office required? <br />A Field office is not required for this project, the Section in Contract Document, General Division 1, Section <br />00200, Article 6, a Field Office is not applicable. <br />5. Does the contractor performing the directional drilling required to have five years' experience, and be a <br />General Contractor? <br />The contractor performing directional drilling shall have experience performing this type of work. <br />6. Can the requirement for Builder's Risk Insurance be waived? <br />Builder's Risk (property) insurance is not required for this project. <br />7. Does Polyacrylamide need to be applied on all disturbed areas? <br />Application Polyacrylamide shall be part of the Contractor's SWPPP plan. <br />8. Will there bean insurance requirement for the FEC (Florida East Coast) Railroad required? <br />No work will be within railroad right of way. <br />9. Is the County honoring fuel and Bitumen adjustment costs? <br />Fuel and bitumen adjustment costs are excluded from County projects. <br />10. The cross-section sheets numbered 64-79 reflect a difference in design from the existing crown section to the <br />proposed cross slope section. How will correct quantities be accounted for and how will they be paid? <br />A new Pay Item No. 210-2A for additional Coquina Base material has been added to the Itemized Bid <br />Schedule and, Plan Sheet -4, Summary of Pay Items and are included with Addendum 2. <br />11. How are design quantity deficiencies between stations are handled? <br />All deficiencies encountered will need to be identified before breaking the road and will be addressed at that <br />time. <br />12. What is the contractor's responsibility if soils encountered do not meet specification of the maximum <br />percentage of 200 sieve fines? <br />A change in existing field conditions would be addressed by a Work Change Directive and reimbursed with <br />the force account if found to be valid. <br />13. How was the sod quantity determined? <br />Sod quantities have been estimated on area of soil disturbance (North R/W of 691h Street to South R/W or <br />the top of bank of the Sub -Lateral Canal. <br />14.
