Each Disease — Each employee $100,000 <br />Each disease — policy limit $500,000 <br />The Worker's Compensation policy shall cover The School Board, all <br />employees, volunteers, and/or contractual persons hired or retained by The <br />School Board. <br />All insurance policies shall be placed with insurers with a Best's rating of no <br />less than A -VII. The insurer chosen shall also be licensed to do business in <br />Florida. The insurance policies procured shall be "Claims Made" policies or <br />as generally available on the open insurance market. The Insurance Carriers <br />shall supply Certificates of Insurance evidencing such coverage to the Indian <br />River County Risk Management Department prior to the execution of this <br />Agreement, and shall provide 30 days written notice to the Indian River <br />County Department of Risk Management of its intent to cancel, terminate or <br />revise coverage. <br />9.2. Self -Insured Program <br />The School Board may satisfy the insurance obligations hereunder by a <br />combination of commercial insurance, formal risk pooling under the <br />statutory provisions of the State, and/or a self-funded loss reserve in <br />whatever proportions are deemed appropriate by the School Board. The <br />School Board shall furnish the County with a certificate or other written <br />evidence of the School Board's election to provide or cause to be provided <br />all or part of its coverage under a risk pooling, risk retention, or self- <br />insurance program or any combination thereof. The School Board must also <br />provide the County with evidence that The School Board's self-insured <br />program has been approved by the State of Florida in accordance with <br />Section 324.171, Fla. Stat. <br />9.3 The County shall provide, prior to execution of the contract, the insurance <br />required under this section for approval by the School Board. The County's <br />insurance shall be primary. The County shall maintain the following limits of <br />insurance during the term duration of this agreement. <br />General Liability <br />Each Occurrence $1,000,000 <br />Property Damage -any one fire $50,000 <br />Medical Expenses -any one person $5,000 <br />Personal and Advertising Injury $500,000 <br />General Aggregate $2,000,000 <br />Sexual Abuse/Molestation $1,000,000 each occurrence <br />Automobile Liability <br />Combined Single Limit $1,000,000 <br />Property insurance for the replacement value of property, buildings <br />and contents owned by The County. <br />Page 4 of 7 <br />
