ANALYSIS <br />In this contract, we have maintained the inspection on a quarterly basis with <br />the same detail level of the reporting and cost. In the previous year, we <br />expended $4,962.00 of the emergency engineering services and the entire <br />contract amount allocated for quarterly and annual reporting. For details <br />see attachment "B" of the proposed service contract. The proposed cost for <br />the services to be performed this year is as follows: <br />Quarterly and Annual Reporting $23,100.00 <br />Emergency Engineering Services $10,000.00, <br />Total proposed costs $33,100.00 <br />For details of service costs see attachment "C" of the attached contract. <br />Funds for this work will be from Account No. 471-218-536-033.13. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that the Board of <br />County Commissioners approve the proposed Work Authorization with Camp <br />Dresser McKee, Inc. as presented. <br />Commissioner Adams felt it is time to get fresh faces, <br />emphasizing that she is real tired of seeing the same firms getting <br />the same contracts. <br />Bill McCain, capital projects engineer, explained that the <br />original contract was set up for 4 years and this is the last of <br />the fourth year. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved <br />the contract with Camp Dresser & McKee, Inc. in the <br />amount set out in staff's recommendation. <br />CONTRACT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />NORTH U.S. #1 — SEBASTIAN WATERFRONT WATER PROTECT <br />CHANGE ORDER NO. 6 & RETAINAGE REDUCTION — SPEEGLE <br />CONSTRUCTION <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 11/2/95: <br />23 BOOS 96 <br />November 14 1995 Ara 599, <br />
