November 21, 1995 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, November 21, <br />1995, at 9:00 a.m. Present were Kenneth R. Macht, Chairman; Fran <br />B. Adams, Vice Chairman; Richard N. Bird; Carolyn K. Eggert; and <br />John W. Tippin. Also present were James E. Chandler, County <br />Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney; and P. J. <br />Jones, Deputy Clerk. <br />Chairman Macht called the meeting to order and County Attorney <br />Vitunac led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Chairman Macht requested two additions to today's Agenda: <br />1. Item 5-B, Proclamation recognizing the week of <br />November 26 to December 2, 1995, as McKee <br />Botanical Gardens Week. <br />2. Item 13-A, computer hard drive requirements. <br />Administrator Chandler requested the addition of Item 10, <br />discussion of South Beach obstacles. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously added the <br />above items to the Agenda. <br />PROCLAMATIONS AND PRESENTATIONS <br />Chairman Macht presented the following Proclamation to Dr. <br />Dennis Saver, Chairman of the Indian River County Medical Society, <br />BOOK 96 Pr:E 6;a <br />NOVEMBER 21, 1995 1 <br />
