This addendum must be acknowledged where indicated on the Bid Form, or the proposal may be <br />declared non-responsive. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />Itemized Bid Schedule -Addendum 4 dated 03/02/2022 <br />Questions and Answers <br />1. Division 5 metals. According to the itemized Bid Schedule item #05.01 Metals, aluminum hand rail. <br />A 22' handrail is required. No railings shown on plans. Please verify location, size and design. No <br />metal railings are required for this project. <br />2. No Iscynene insulation is noted on plans but is in the itemized bid schedule. Please clarify location, <br />R rating, and if fireproof coating is necessary. No Iscynene insulation is being used. Building <br />section calls out 6" Batt Insulation R=30. See sheets A4.10, A4.20 and A4.21. <br />3. Fire suppression. Please verify upright sprinklers necessary every 8 to 12 feet in addition area if <br />5/8 hard lid is being applied above the drop ceiling. See building section on A4.10. if not, verify <br />which you would prefer. Also, could you supply the location of the Riser of the main to which you <br />wish to connect the new branch of sprinklers. See Fire Protection Drawing Sheet FS0.1, ES.21 and <br />FS2.2 for attic sprinkler heads and multi-purpose room sprinkler head requirements. See Sheet <br />FS2.1 for Fire Main Connection. <br />4. Referencing Section 01009 Special Provisions Item 1.1 General Note C, states that all salvageable <br />material and equipment for which specific use, relocation or other disposal is not specifically <br />noted, shall remain the property of the OWNER and shall be delivered to the OWNER at the <br />following location: 4550 41St Street, at the CONTRACTOR'S expense. Please identify the items that <br />we are to transport to the proposed location, this will be difficult to price without further <br />
