/H <br />PROCLAMATION <br />HONORING MATTHEW BROWER ON HIS RETIREMENT FROM THE <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS /ROAD & BRIDGE DIVISION <br />WHEREAS, Matthew Brower retires from the Indian River County Department of Public <br />Works, Road & Bridge Division effective August 2, 2022; and <br />WHEREAS, Matthew Brower began his career with Indian River County, Golf Course <br />Operations on August 23, 1991, as a Maintenance Worker II1, On May 31, 1996, Matthew <br />transferred to the Parks Department as a Maintenance Worker L On July 12, 1996, Matthew <br />was promoted to a Maintenance Worker III with the Road & Bridge Division. On April 4, <br />1997, Matthew was promoted to a Maintenance Worker V. On March 30, 2001, the <br />Maintenance Worker V position was changed to a Senior Maintenance Worker. On <br />December 20, 2002, Matthew was promoted to Tradesworker I and on July 2, 2004, Matthew <br />was promoted to a Heavy Equipment Operator which is the position he continued in until his <br />retirement; and <br />WHEREAS, Matthew Brower has served this County and the Public with distinction and <br />selflessness. He has gained the respect and admiration of his colleagues, co-workers and <br />citizens within the County and his work is greatly appreciated; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLALâ–º1ED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board applauds <br />Matthew Brower's hard work representing the organization on behalf of the County, and <br />the Board wishes to express their appreciation for the dedicated service he has given to <br />Indian River County for the last 31 years! <br />BE IT FURTHER PROCLAIMED that the Board of County Commissioners and staff extend <br />heartfelt wishes for success in his future endeavors! <br />Adopted this day of July 12, 2 02 2. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />Peter O'Bryan, Chairman <br />3 <br />
