C <br />He said there were six items on the Precise Land Use and Items <br />one and five are to encourage more housing and business <br />opportunities through the R-10 arrangement, and he feels strongly <br />that we should get on with that business. <br />He said that 75 percent of the households use septic tanks <br />and that there is a high percentage of available public sewer and <br />water for the area and he hoped that as development continues, <br />that we will get more people in the Gifford area connected to the <br />public facilities. <br />On MOTION by John Brenner, SECONDED <br />by Claude Kleckner, the Commission <br />voted 4-0 to recommend to the Board <br />of County Commissioners that the <br />Gifford Small Area Plan and Precise <br />Land Use Map as a general guide for <br />future development in the Gifford area, <br />be approved. <br />ITEM #5 - County Initiated Request. <br />To amend the IL District to allow selected stone, clay, <br />glass and concrete products as permitted uses. <br />The hour of 7:30 P.
